Tesla Expands FSD 14 Lite Rollout in US and Canada Beyond Early Testers

Tesla has started broadening the release of its Full Self-Driving v14 Lite software for older vehicles equipped with Hardware 3 computers across Canada and the United States.

The latest deployment, labeled as software update 2026.20.6.10, brings updated driving behaviors to millions of drivers who have been waiting for feature parity with newer models. Tesla head of AI Ashok Elluswamy noted on Sunday that this latest build “is likely the version that goes to wide release,” signaling that the early testing phase is coming to a close.

FSD v14 Lite uses a compressed neural network designed specifically to fit within the processing and memory limits of Hardware 3. The software shrinkage allows older Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X cars to run newer capabilities previously reserved for Hardware 4 vehicles. Key additions in this update include starting self-driving directly from a parked position, automatic parking upon reaching a destination, and customizable speed profiles.

• FSD v14 Lite on AI3 hardware now starts directly from park without needing a brake pedal confirmation, offering a much smoother user experience.

On Monday evening, new HW3 owners beyond early testers started to get FSD 14 Lite, including owners in the US and Canada.
