Tesla FSD Supervised Expands to Lithuania
Tesla has begun rolling out its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised software to vehicles in Lithuania. The company announced the expansion on May 19, 2026, making Lithuania the second European country to receive the feature after the Netherlands.
Lithuania’s Transport Safety Administration approved the system by recognizing the provisional type approval previously granted by the Dutch vehicle authority (RDW) in April 2026, rather than conducting a full independent review. Tesla confirmed the rollout shortly afterward.
FSD Supervised remains a Level 2 advanced driver-assistance system, meaning the driver must stay attentive and ready to intervene at all times. It builds on basic Autopilot and Enhanced Autopilot features that were previously available to European Tesla owners.
Here’s the video Tesla shared on X:
The European rollout has been more gradual than in North America due to varying national regulations and safety validation requirements across EU member states.
Smaller countries like the Netherlands and Lithuania have moved ahead by leveraging mutual recognition of approvals within the EU framework. Tesla’s official site now lists FSD Supervised as available in Lithuania, alongside countries including the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, and others.
