Tesla Hong Kong has opened a public Cybercab display at L1 Metal Zone inside ELEMENTS in Kowloon, giving local fans their first fixed venue to see the steering-wheel-free robotaxi after Tesla Asia listed Hong Kong among four Asia showcase cities earlier this month.

The official @teslahongkong account posted “Meet Cybercab in Hong Kong” on September 9, 2026, with photos of a gold Cybercab on an indoor stand under blue lighting, then confirmed the location in a reply: L1 Metal Zone, ELEMENTS, Kowloon. That pins down the first concrete Hong Kong stop after Tesla Asia’s September lineup of Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, and Shanghai and after Tesla Hong Kong had only said the car would be on display “soon.”

Nothing in the Hong Kong posts frames the ELEMENTS stop as Robotaxi bookings, test rides, or Cybercab sales in the city. Like the Cybercab Japan Tour that starts September 11 across Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, and the broader Asia display announcement, this reads as a static showcase meant to put the purpose-built autonomous two-seater in front of local crowds while paid Cybercab rides continue in Austin.

Cybercab has no steering wheel or pedals, uses butterfly doors, and is built for unsupervised Robotaxi service rather than owner driving. Tesla began public Cybercab rides in Austin after a September 3 launch event, while Model Y robotaxis still make up most of the Texas fleet. Exact hours for the ELEMENTS display were not listed in the Hong Kong posts, and Tesla has not yet published venues for Beijing or Shanghai the way Japan did.

For now, Kowloon’s ELEMENTS mall is the first named Hong Kong address on the Asia Cybercab tour, turning the “soon” tease into a place fans can actually visit.
