Tesla Rolls Out FSD V14.3.3 with Spring Update and Faster Smart Summon
Tesla has begun rolling out its highly anticipated Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised V14.3.3 software update, which includes the company’s major Spring Update, according to the company.
FSD 14.3.3 comes in software version 2026.14.6.6, and includes key performance refinements to the autonomous driving suite and introduces a notable speed upgrade for low-speed parking lot maneuvers.
Faster Parking Lot Navigation
A key change in this release is an update to Actually Smart Summon (ASS). The feature, which allows owners to call their vehicles to their location autonomously within a parking lot, has received a maximum speed increase, finally.
The top speed for the feature is now set to 8 mph (13 km/h), up from the previous limit of 6 mph. While the numeric adjustment appears small, early user feedback indicates that the extra speed makes the system significantly more practical and natural for everyday use in busy retail areas.
AI Enhancements and Smoother Driving
The core FSD software introduces an upgraded Reinforcement Learning stage for the neural network, which aims to improve decision-making across various driving scenarios. It also brings an updated vision encoder to enhance 3D geometry understanding, allowing the vehicle to perceive complex environments and traffic signs with greater accuracy.
Tesla has rewritten its AI compiler to reduce reaction times by 20% and smooth out model iteration. The update also focuses on passenger comfort by mitigating unnecessary lane-biasing and tailgating behaviours, while adding better handling for rare and unusual objects.
FSD 14.3.3 is confirmed to be rolling out in the USA and also Canada. Elon Musk called FSD 14.3.3 “a banger”.
