First Tesla Cybertruck Registered in China at 3x the Price

A Tesla Cybertruck has been successfully registered in China through Tianjin Port, marking the first instance of the vehicle receiving an official license plate in the country (via @Tslachan).
The Cybertruck, imported as a parallel import, was priced at two million yuan, approximately $279,000 USD—nearly three times the starting price of $99,990 USD in the United States for the Dual Motor AWD configuration.
The registration raises questions about the potential for official Cybertruck sales in China. The individual responsible for the import is reported to have obtained the vehicle’s 3C certification, a requirement for products to be sold in the Chinese market.
This development could be seen as a precursor to future Cybertruck sales in China, although no official launch has been confirmed. Earlier this year, Tesla took the Cybertruck for an official tour in China to drum up buzz.
