Tesla lowers price of Model 3/Y, Model S/X in Canada
Tesla has reduced the prices across its vehicle lineup in Canada, reflecting similar price cuts in other markets. Here are the revised prices along with the discounts:
- Model 3 RWD: $50,990 (was $53,990) – $3,000 discount
- Model 3 Long Range: $60,990 (was $63,990) – $3,000 discount
Both of these Model 3 trims qualify for the $5,000 federal iZEV rebate, taking the prices down further.
- Model Y RWD: $53,990 (was $54,990) – $1,000 discount
- Model Y Long Range: $63,990 (was $64,990) – $1,000 discount
- Model Y Performance: $68,990 (was $69,990) – $1,000 discount
All Model Y trims qualify for the $5,000 federal iZEV rebate, again knocking them lower.
- Model S AWD: $97,990 (was $99,990) – $2,000 discount
- Model S Plaid: $122,990 (was $124,990) – $2,000 discount
- Model X AWD: $107,990 (was $109,990) – $2,000 discount
- Model X Plaid: $128,990 (was $130,990) – $2,000 discount
Lowering prices will likely stoke demand. Tesla’s Q1 earnings saw lower revenue and net profit, as it continued to face global economic challenges, like the rest of the auto industry.
But Tesla has fared better than other carmakers. It revealed during its earnings call it will fast-track more affordable models, while focusing on AI and robotaxis.
Tesla recently launchdd the new Model 3 Performance, finalizing bringing its fastest compact sedan using the upgraded Model 3 design.
