Tesla Roadster Update: 0-60mph in Less than 1 Second and More: Musk

In a series of tweets posted late on February 27, Tesla CEO Elon Musk unveiled ambitious plans for the company’s upcoming Roadster, suggesting a collaboration with SpaceX to create a vehicle unlike any before.

Musk stated, “Tonight, we radically increased the design goals for the new Tesla Roadster. There will never be another car like this, if you could even call it a car.” Talk about creating hype for the new Roadster.

The collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX marks a significant step towards integrating automotive and aerospace technology, with the production design now complete and an unveiling scheduled for the end of the year. Musk aims for shipping to start at the end of next year, hinting at the potential for the Roadster to be the “most mind-blowing product demo of all time.”

Highlighting the vehicle’s extraordinary acceleration, Musk claimed, “0-60mph < 1 sec,” but quickly added, “And that is the least interesting part.” This statement alone sets the new Roadster apart from conventional vehicles, suggesting capabilities beyond traditional automotive design.

Responding to inquiries about the Roadster’s capabilities, Musk’s cryptic reply with side eyes emoji to the question, “can it fly a little?” and his affirmative response to “Son of a bitch you actually are making a rocket on wheels lmao,” with “of course”.

Buckle up, folks. With Tesla already delivering on the Cybertruck, we can’t doubt that the company is going to follow through on the new Roadster.
