Tesla announced on Wednesday a recap of its milestones in 2023.

The company said on X it was “Made possible by the hard work of our amazing teams around the world, and each of our owners & supporters. Thank you for helping us continue to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy!”.

• 1 million Tesla cars on the road in Europe
• 20 millionth 4680 battery cell produced
• 5,000 builds/week production rate reached at Gigafactory Berlin and Gigafactory Texas
• Giga Shanghai reached production capacity
• 11,000+ new Supercharger stalls opened for a total of 50,000 Superchargers globally
• Giga Mexico and Megafactory Shanghai announced
• Model S Plaid broke its own Nürburgring record by over 8 seconds
• S3XY ranked the top 4 most American-made cars
• Model Y became the world’s best selling car
• Tesla charging connector adopted as the North American Charging Standard
• Global Supercharging network opened to all EVs
• Powerwall installs began in 4 new countries
• 500,000+ Powerwall installations completed worldwide
