Tesla Shows Off Cybertruck Front Crash Test [VIDEO]

When Tesla let Hagerty’s Jason Cammisa review the company’s Cybertruck early, they also let the reviewer witness a Cybertruck side impact crash test at Giga Texas, which was shared within the full review to the world for the first time.
Now, Tesla has shared a short video detailing a front crash test of Cybertruck. Previously, Tesla had teased a front crash test on April 1, but now we see just how effective the front crumple zone is.
“It’s not about the size of your crumple zone, it’s about how you use it,” explained Tesla’s official @Cybertruck account on X.
“When in a high-speed collision, Cybertruck’s front underbody casting is designed to break into small pieces. This helps reduce occupant impact by absorbing & dispensing energy,” said Tesla.
