The 2023 Detroit Auto Show, set to take place from September 13 to 24 at Huntington Place in Detroit, has unveiled a stellar lineup of 35 brands, with Tesla taking center stage among other major automakers. The event promises a mix of vehicles from both corporate manufacturers and local Detroit dealerships.

Visitors can anticipate displays from leading brands such as Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Tesla, Toyota, and Volkswagen. Additionally, dealer-supported vehicle displays will feature luxury names like Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Rolls-Royce. The show’s organizers have also teased a few surprise additions to the list.

Rod Alberts, the Detroit Auto Show Executive Director, emphasized the event’s commitment to showcasing a diverse range of brands available in the region. He highlighted the importance of dealers as the primary link to consumers and noted the trend of combining corporate and dealer-supported vehicles at auto shows nationwide.

A highlight for electric vehicle enthusiasts will be the Powering Michigan EV Experience indoor track, where brands like BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Tesla, and Volkswagen will showcase their latest EVs. Additionally, Ford and Tesla will offer attendees a unique experience with street course ride-and-drives along the Detroit riverfront, incorporating parts of the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix downtown race circuit.

What vehicles will Tesla have at the auto show? That remains to be seen, but you can bet the existing line up of Model S/X and Model 3/Y will be there, and likely the upcoming Cybertruck. Tesla may also tease its latest Model 3 refresh that’s not coming to North America yet just.

The show will also introduce the Exotic and Luxury Showcase, featuring a collection of prestigious automotive brands and a futuristic flying car by California’s Alef Aeronautics.
