Tesla frequently offers free off-peak Supercharging in the U.S. during special holidays, and now we’re seeing this freebie extended to Europe.

According to the automaker, from Friday, July 21, there will be changes to the charging costs and off-peak hours at selected Supercharger stations throughout Croatia and Slovenia, notes Esther Kokkelmans on late Friday.

Tesla owners can take advantage of free charging between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am from Friday through Monday, spanning July 21 to September 4, 2023. To view the updated prices at each location, Tesla drivers can simply tap the Supercharger pins on the vehicle’s touchscreen map.

The following locations will feature the updated pricing structure:

  • Karlovac, Croatia
  • Senj, Croatia
  • Otocac, Croatia
  • Kozina, Slovenia
  • Zadar, Croatia
  • Ljubljana, Slovenia
  • Maribor, Slovenia

As of Q2 2023, Tesla noted it now has 5,262 Supercharger stations globally, while individual connectors now total 48,028, up 33% year-over-year, just like the former.

Back in December 2022, Tesla started to offer 10,000 km of free Supercharging as an incentive for buyers in Europe to push Q4 sales. Two years ago, Tesla offered free Supercharging in parts of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany impacted by flooding.

There’s also a non-Tesla Supercharger pilot limited to select countries in Europe, including the Netherlands, France, Norway, Germany, UK, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Iceland, Italy and Türkiye.
