Tesla unveiled the video meeting app Zoom in its vehicles in its recent holiday update, and the program is now available in the automaker’s cars, as spotted in photos from one new user.

On Thursday, Zoom founder and CEO @Eric S. Yuan shared screenshots on Twitter of him using the video meeting program inside a Tesla for the first time.

In the screenshot, you can see Yuan’s talking head on the screen coming from inside the Tesla driver’s seat (the upper left thumbnail), along with two other meeting members who can be seen in their offices.

Several in the thread asked how to make Zoom work, and Yuan noted that the program had become available with the latest Tesla software update.

Additionally, when asked if it would work while the car was in drive, another user noted that the Zoom program would automatically turn to audio-only.

From the driver’s perspective, the video feed is shown on the right side of the touchscreen, with navigation or other Tesla settings displayed along the left side of the screen.

For the Tesla driver’s video feed, the vehicle uses the interior cabin camera which is pointed at the driver already for Autopilot and Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta monitoring purposes. This same camera can also be used for Dog Mode, to track your dog from the Tesla mobile app.
