Tesla Delivered 106 Model S Units, 35 Model X Units in Germany in November

Tesla delivered dozens of Model S and X units in Germany in November, according to registration data from the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamtes (KBA) as compiled in a report from Tesmanian.

The country’s registration documents showed that Tesla sold 106 Model S units and 35 Model X units in Germany during November, though it isn’t exactly clear how many of those were Long Range trims and what portion were the Plaid versions.

No private deliveries of the Model S Plaid have been confirmed as of yet, though a number of local outlets and onlookers have spotted the luxury vehicles featuring Munich numbers in Germany and in nearby countries.

Tesmanian guesses that the Model S and X vehicles delivered in Germany are to employee customers, noting that they couldn’t have been units for Tesla’s stores since they were listed as sold.

Tesla’s November deliveries in Germany were largely comprised of its Model 3 sedan and Model Y SUV, with the latter even becoming Germany’s best-selling car in October.

Tesla delivered a total of 10,819 vehicles in Germany during November, up 93 percent year-over-year and close to breaking the record for most vehicles sold in a month within the country.

A report from last month also showed that Tesla was leading year-to-date EV registrations in Germany, with 41,643 registrations made by the beginning of November.
