Lucid Motors launched the Gravity electric SUV in a press release and launch event held on Tuesday. The automaker is set to open reservations for the electric SUV in 2023, with deliveries slated for 2024.

The Gravity SUV is currently undergoing its final vehicle design and spec confirmation at the Lucid AMP-1 factory in Casa Grande, Arizona.

It’s not yet clear what the Gravity’s full lineup will look like, but Lucid plans to release availability, timing and markets beyond North America down the road.

“I’m so thrilled with the results we are seeing with Lucid Gravity, sparing no opportunity to build on everything we learned with Lucid Air to create something that warps the vehicle-class continuum,” said Derek Jenkins, Lucid’s Senior Vice President of Design.

Lucid has also yet to release pricing or range information for the upcoming Gravity SUV, though more details are likely to be released when reservations open.

Reservations for the Gravity SUV are set to begin in the first half of 2023, and it will include up to seven seats and “Glass Cockpit” high-resolution displays.

The news also comes after Lucid revealed the Air Pure and Air Touring models on Tuesday ahead of the launch event. Additionally, the company says the upcoming Sapphire Air model will be able to go from 0-60mph in just 1.89 seconds.
