When will Tesla release Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta 10.69.1? According to CEO Elon Musk, FSD beta 10.69.1 will now be released on Monday, August 29, 2022.
Musk provided an updated timeline for FSD beta 10.69.1 on Thursday afternoon, saying it “releases Monday night”, which would be August 29.
He added “10.69.2 about a week or so later—this will be the wide beta version.”
Back on August 18, Musk said FSD beta 10.69 would release on August 20—which it did. He also added FSD beta 10.69.1 would hit one week later, and that would mean by this week.
On August 21, Musk said again FSD beta 10.69.1 would “probably” debut “end of week,” but today’s update nixes that plan.
The staggered rollout is to ensure a safe release of FSD beta, which has come under scrutiny by anti-Tesla campaigns such as the one by Dan O’Dowd.
At this point, after the release of FSD beta 10.69.1 next Monday, we will likely see the wide beta version 10.69.2 by mid-September, unless Musk and company need more time to work on the huge update.
So far, FSD beta 10.69 has impressed most beta testers, particularly Chuck Cook and his now famous unprotected left turn.
