Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently said the company’s next version of Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta 10.13, isn’t quite ready yet for download.
Musk previously said FSD beta 10.13 possibly could arrive by the end of this week, but on Friday morning, the Tesla CEO clarified the build isn’t ready yet.
“We’re working super hard on 10.13, but it isn’t ready yet,” said Musk, when asked by @DirtyTesla if the release would arrive this weekend.
FSD beta 10.13 is expected to bring significant improvements to unprotected left turns, specifically the case being tested by Chuck Cook in Jacksonville, Florida. Currently, Tesla has a team of drivers performing the unprotected left turn while using FSD beta, testing improvements to the software for the tricky turn.
Update: Musk now says FSD beta 10.13 should drop in a week or so. So round up to two weeks?
10.13 is probably a week or so away, but yes. People outside of California will notice improvements the most.
