Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is expected to make an appearance at an investment conference this weekend, as detailed by a few sources this week.
Elon Musk will speak at this year’s final day of the Allen & Co. Sun Valley Gathering of the Elite, according to people familiar with the subject detailed in a report from Bloomberg.
The sources, who asked not to be identified since the information isn’t yet public, said that Musk’s marquee address at the Idaho conference will take place on Saturday.
The role is typically held by high-ranking investors such as Warren Buffett, though Musk is a bit of an outlier — despite being the world’s richest person.

According to one source, Musk will arrive in Sun Valley on Thursday, though the Twitter account tracking his private jet, @ElonJet, shows his jet having touched down in Austin on Tuesday after departing from Hawthorne, California.
@ElonJet has yet to share any flight information for Musk’s supposed trip on Thursday.
The news comes as the billionaire entrepreneur continues to complete his purchase of Twitter, after the social media company’s shareholders voted to approve Musk’s takeover last month.
Although Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has yet to be seen at the ongoing conference, the company’s Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal was spotted.
