SpaceX announced the development of a Starlink mesh Wi-Fi router system in January, which the company has apparently now completed.

You can now buy a mesh Wi-Fi router for Starlink on the company’s website for $130, according to a post on Reddit on Thursday.

Some users in the thread are noting that the mesh router is not showing up in their online shop.

In response, the original poster said that they simply received an email about the product saying they have “an opportunity to be the first to try.”

Mesh Wi-Fi routers are meant to be used in tandem with other mesh routers, in order to create a ‘mesh’ of Wi-Fi that’s often more reliable room-to-room than traditional routers in a single location.

On Thursday, Dogecoin announced plans to use SpaceX’s Starlink internet to offer cryptocurrency access in remote regions.

SpaceX announced in February that it is testing Starlink on Gulfstream jets and will prioritize commercial airlines upon deploying the satellite internet.

SpaceX also donated 5,000 Starlink dishes to Ukraine amidst the country’s ongoing Russian invasion, after the service was made available to the region in January.

You can see where Starlink internet is available around the world using this map, with SpaceX planning to launch more satellites throughout this year.

The next SpaceX launch is the NROL-85 mission, set for Saturday, April 16 at 6:27AM PT, from Space Launch Complex 4E, at Vandenburg SFB in California. SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will send a classified payload for the US National Reconnaissance Office to low Earth orbit.
