Tesla App Store Concept Imagined by Designer, Looks Incredible [VIDEO]
Designer Hans van de Bruggen, known as @deleetdesign, previously made a viral Tesla reimagined V11 concept that the internet loved, after there was less than popular fanfare for the actual V11 holiday software release.
The designer was previously a product designer at Netflix and LinkedIn, and is based in San Francisco, California.
Now, Hans is back with his concept imagining a Tesla App Store, after rumours earlier this month claimed the automaker had third-party app support in the works. The designer released new concepts on Wednesday and they look pretty incredible.
Here’s what an app description would look like in the Tesla App Store, taking cues from Apple’s App Store it seems:
Below is Han’s ‘app widgets’ concept:
Here’s his concept for built-in Audible integration into Tesla’s software interface:
Here’s the Tesla app store concept Hans detailed and created on his iPad. He believes third party apps offering purchases and ordering should just seamlessly charge your Tesla account, and some apps only limited for usage while parked.
He also offered an idea of widgets for quick glances at weather or other information, easily hidden away with gestures:
What if Tesla had an app store? I put together this prototype to see what it might be like. What apps would you want to see?

Other Tesla concepts from Hans include this ‘pre-trip briefing’ he imagined, that owners would experience prior to departing on a trip:
Here’s another concept for “eyes-free shortcuts” in a Tesla:
Hans has an excellent eye for design and Tesla may benefit from having him on board at some point. What do you think of these concepts?
