Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is no stranger to joining podcasts to give interviews with various independent outlets.
On Monday morning, Musk agreed to join Rob Maurer on the latter’s podcast ‘Tesla Daily’, with other notable podcast hosts as well.
“Hi @elonmusk, I just published episode 1,000 of Tesla Daily. I’ve been doing this every weekday since 2017 because I’ve believed in Tesla & its mission, and I didn’t think the media was sharing the truth,” said Maurer on Monday. “Thanks for everything. We’d love to have you on the podcast sometime,” he said.

That’s when Musk chimed in, “Wow, that’s a lot of podcasts! Ok, I will do one. Maybe we could combine with Dave Lee and a few others.”
Lee, who hosts ‘Dave Lee on Investing’ on YouTube, added, “I’m in!”.
Tesla Daily has over 202,000 subscribers on YouTube, while Dave Lee on Investing has over 208,000.
Last August, Musk gave a lengthy interview and tour of Starbase with Everyday Astronaut, providing a glimpse of SpaceX operations and offering unprecedented access to an independent media outlet.
