Tesla’s Mobile App to Show Daily Charging Stats Soon: Report
With its growing customer base, Tesla has been incrementally improving the functionality of its phone apps for iOS and Android, and a new update is set to add new charging data features for all users.
Tesla’s version 4.4 app update allows users to view their daily vehicle charging data, and the feature is already being tested by Tesla employees ahead of a wider release, according to Tesmanian (use coupon TESLANORTH10 to save 10% off car mats and more).
The charging data can be viewed to see how many miles or kWhs a car has charged in a recent charging session, and it’s expected to be updated down the line with the ability to see an even more detailed history of how much the vehicle charges.

The charging data will become available for all users, not just those who charge at home with a Powerwall.
Users can also modify scheduled charging times and when they’ll finish charging through the app with the update.
Last month, some users discovered a glitch allowing users to add more than four shortcuts to the app’s main screen.
Earlier this month, one hacker discovered internal code hinting that Tesla is also expected to add the ability for owners to share their vehicle with up to five other people via the app.
