With GMC’s first Hummer electric vehicle (EV) deliveries set to go out this month, one new owner is showing off a number of the electric truck’s features with high praises.
A new review of the 2022 GMC Hummer EV was shared on Thursday by Doug DeMuro, calling the vehicle the “best electric pickup truck.”
In the nearly 34-minute review, DeMuro goes into detail about various aspects of the vehicle, including both the exterior and interior.
On the interior side of things, DeMuro discusses both the Hummer’s removable glass roof panels, and goes into specific detail about the vehicle’s dashboard and touchscreen.
In addition, the Hummer EV is full of moon-themed Easter eggs, including both the UI on the vehicle’s touchscreen and on the front speaker covers.
DeMuro also takes the Hummer EV for a drive, showing off the vehicle’s modifiable wheel angles on all four wheels, allowing the vehicle to perform a strange “crab walk” maneuver.
As for its driving, prototypes of the Hummer EV already depicted impressive climbing in October, and U.S. President Joe Biden drove the Hummer EV in Detroit, calling it “one hell of a vehicle.”

The review comes after the first GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1 pickup trucks rolled off the line.
