Tesla has unveiled new gift cards in its online shop for its US Tesla Shop on Friday (via @SawyerMerritt).
“Give the gift of Tesla all year long. Add a personalized message to your digital Tesla Gift Card for any occasion and share the transition to a sustainable future with family and friends. Tesla Gift Cards can be applied towards all purchases of our exclusive apparel and lifestyle products, as well as popular vehicle accessories and charging products from Tesla Shop,” explains the company.
Gift card denominations are showing as $50, $100, custom amounts and even—you guessed it—$420 and $69 (likely Elon Musk’s doing).
According to Tesla, up to four gift cards can be purchased per order. Each card has a $500 limit and you cannot buy more than $2,000 in gift cards per order.
Tesla says these gift cards are available in the USA only, and does not include other countries such as Canada. “Tesla Gift Cards cannot be redeemed in Canada, Europe or Asia Tesla Shop sites,” explains the company.
It is possible to split a payment at checkout, using your Tesla gift card and a credit card as payment.
