Tesla Delays FSD Beta 10.2 Release Over ‘Last Minute Concerns’
Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta 10.2 was originally slated to start rolling out earlier today, but CEO Elon Musk announced in a tweet that the launch was being delayed due to “last minute concerns”.
A few last minute concerns about this build. Release likely on Sunday or Monday. Sorry for the delay.

Musk went on to add that the new build will likely become available for download on Sunday, October 10, or Monday, October 11.
As previously reported, FSD beta 10.2 will roll out first to around 1,000 beta testers with perfect 100/100 Safety Scores, and those with lower scores will gradually get the update thereafter in descending order.
The Tesla CEO also apologized in his tweet. Prospective FSD beta candidates have been eagerly awaiting the update, as Tesla’s expansion of the beta program will begin when the update drops.
According to Musk, Tesla will admit ~1,000 beta testers every day after the FSD beta 10.2 release.
Since the “few last minute concerns” the Tesla CEO cited in his tweet are supposedly only delaying the launch by a couple of days, they’re likely not too serious. Hopefully, Tesla engineers will have everything sorted in no time and we’ll see the update go live by Monday at most.
In the meantime, it looks like Musk and company are partying at Giga Berlin in Germany instead, as the latter’s factory tour is well underway.
