Last month, Netflix announced a new documentary series covering SpaceX’s Inspiration4 mission —, the first private spaceflight to carry civilian passengers into orbit, in “near real-time” (the only Netflix documentary to ever do so).

The first two episodes of the docuseries are now available to stream on Netflix, and cover the selection of each of the crew’s members as well as their orientation process.

Funded by 34-year-old billionaire Jared Isaacman, Inspiration4 will launch four civilian passengers into space aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon vessel on a Falcon 9 rocket, for a three-day trip orbiting Earth. The mission was announced back in February, and last week we got a glimpse into the nature of the experiments the crew will be conducting during the voyage.

Episodes 3 and 4 of the Netflix documentary will go live Monday, Sept. 13, just two days before the Inspiration4 crew’s scheduled liftoff on Sept. 15. The next two episodes will cover launch preparations, which the Inspiration4 crew completed earlier this month.

Netflix will stream the Inspiration4 launch live on its YouTube channel, and the final episode of the series, which will document the crew’s experience in orbit and journey home, will hit the streaming platform on September 30.
