
Tesla has shared a new video in China, showing off its Model Y factory floor in action at its Gigafactory in Shanghai, as recorded and shared by Jason Yang on YouTube.
The 39-second time-lapse video above shows Tesla’s incredible robotic production line for its Model Y compact crossover SUV. The machines making the Model Y look more complex than the electric vehicle itself.
Tesla said at its recent Q2 earnings update Giga Shanghai now has the capacity to produce over 450,000 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles per year.
Next month, Tesla will kick off Model Y deliveries in Hong Kong and Macau.
