Wawa Offers Curbside Delivery at Tesla Supercharger in Florida

Tesla’s Supercharger stations have been rapidly expanding their reach, often being placed in close proximity to restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. And now, users of one Florida Supercharger station can benefit from curbside delivery while charging their Teslas.

On Tuesday, u/FLAlex111 shared pictures from a Wawa convenience store and Supercharger station in Florida which includes a sign detailing the station’s “Curbside Pickup.” The pictures, as shared on the Tesla Motors subreddit, says, “Order Wawa Curbside and have it delivered to your vehicle! Enter your parking space number in the Wawa app to check-in.”

Wawa’s gas and convenience store chain runs throughout the east coast down into Florida, and the company’s curbside delivery service boasts zero extra costs. The move to offer free curbside delivery can be likened to the McDonald’s at Tesla’s Firebaugh, California station, which also delivers meals straight to peoples’ charging locations.

While nothing of the sort has been seen in Canada yet, Tesla is building 129 new Supercharger stalls across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, some of which are likely to be in close proximity to restaurants that could feasibly employ the curbside delivery service, if they choose to.

A number of non-Tesla electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are also coming to Winnipeg and Southern Manitoba in the coming months, thanks to a major investment from Natural Resources Canada.
