Tesla Hit Another All-Time High to Close Out 2020

There’s nothing like closing out a tumultuous and crazy 2020 with a bang, right? That’s exactly what Tesla has done, as its shares touched a new all-time high on Thursday, reaching $718.72 per share, with market cap now at $668 billion.
With Tesla finally entering the S&P 500 last month, it will be exciting to see what the company will bring for 2021. Elon Musk and company did not waste time, as we saw Tesla Model Y launch in China, priced aggressively to undercut local EV rivals and traditional automakers.
Taking a look at the 1-year chart for Tesla’s stock for 2020 just shows how incredible the year was the company’s stock:

We’ll find out in the coming days if Tesla hit its goal of 500,000 cars delivered in a single year. With Gigafactories in Austin and Berlin expected to go online in 2021, the future is looking bright for Tesla.
