SpaceX’s Starlink is Hiring for Various Positions in California

Shooting for the stars never felt as possible as it does now, especially for those who are professionals.

SpaceX’s low-Earth orbit satellite internet project, Starlink, is currently hiring for two separate positions, according to the company’s website. The company is currently hiring for a director of sales, and a country launch manager, both of which will be located at SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne, California.

While Starlink’s internet service is still in a limited public beta setting, it will likely see more widespread availability in 2021. Whether or not we see an official release to the public may be a different story.

However, users of the beta are already seeing amazing connectivity, especially compared to other satellite internet service providers (ISPs) currently available.

At the top of both job descriptions, SpaceX includes a short blip about the company’s goals.

The company writes, “SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.”

As Starlink inches closer to reaching a world of remote connectivity, it will require a dense network of talent to get the job done. And if you think you might have something to contribute, there’s no better day to apply than today.
