Tesla Shanghai-Made Model 3 SR+ Review in English [VIDEO]
Tesla Giga Shanghai has been exporting its Model 3s for a few months now, and while the process certainly takes some time, Tesla enthusiasts around the world are saying that the electric vehicles (EVs) are worth the wait. We’re now starting to see some of the first reviews in English on YouTube.
In a new video from YouTube channel Semper Honeymoon, the host, Laura, takes viewers through her process of purchasing a made in China (MIC) Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus. The video takes place on delivery day as well, so Laura shares what the process of delivery was like.
On the subject of tracking her delivery, Laura talked about trying to find the correct tracking information on the Tesla website as well as by logging into her account. When she couldn’t find it, she asked her Tesla advisor, who was able to point her in the right direction so she could track the progress of her delivery.
Laura largely regards her experience as positive, though she made a few criticisms clear: particularly, the slow charging speed of the Tesla as well as the 350-mile range, rather than the originally-promised 440 miles.
Additionally, she mentions that she has heard some valid criticisms of the car’s Autopilot system, though she hadn’t yet been able to test it due to weather conditions. Laura also shared that she would be testing the feature in the next few days and would upload a new video about it.
In any case, delivery day is basically its own holiday for Tesla reservation holders, celebrated by the delivery of a very special, very large gift.
