New Tesla Superchargers Open in Connecticut, Illinois, Washington State
With the clear goal of making EV charging more accessible and available everywhere, Tesla looks to be ramping up its Supercharger operations significantly. After opening 11 new Supercharger stations in the U.S during the first half of October, the EV giant has gone and opened 3 new stations in a single day.
Data compiled by Supercharge indicates that the following new Supercharger locations went live on Friday, Oct. 30:
Hartford, Connecticut
Now open for business at 195 Leibert Rd, Hartford, CT, the location is right next to a Pride Travel Center Hydrogen Station and houses 12 urban charging stalls equipped with an older generation of Tesla Superchargers, rated at up to 120 kW charging rates per car.
Aurora, Illinois
Located at 808 Illinois Rte 59, Aurora, IL, this station is built next to a Meijer Supermarket. The location is equipped with the latest Supercharger V3 stations capable of delivering up to 250 kW charging rates, and has a total of 12 stalls.
Lacey, Washington State
Built next to a Target and a CVS Pharmacy, the station is located at 655 Sleater Kinney Rd SE, Lacey, WA. The charging station houses a total of 12 Supercharger V3 stalls rated at 250 kW charging rates.
We’re seeing new Supercharger locations popping up all over the U.S. every week, and Tesla is showing no signs of slowing down.
