Tesla Full Self-Driving Beta Attempts Twisty Lombard Street in San Francisco [VIDEO]
We’re seeing more and more Tesla Full Self-Driving beta videos every day, and the latest from Tesla Raj shows FSD beta attempting the twisty Lombard Street in San Francisco, California.
The east-west street constructed in 1922 has a steep section that contains 8 hairpin turns, which can be tricky for novice drivers, let alone an autonomous vehicle.
The video also has a drone covering the Tesla Model 3 attempt Lombard Street from the skies, which looks really cool. How does the FSD beta do? It handles some of the street fine, but Tesla Raj had to intervene a few times, otherwise his vehicle would have collided with walls
While the visualizations of Lombard Street are available in FSD beta, it wasn’t quite ready for Lombard Street. But over time, you can bet FSD beta will nail it.
Yesterday, Tesla raised the price of Full Self-Driving to $10,000 in the United States.
