If you live in Santa Monica, California, the Tesla Supercharger in the city is set to get a major upgrade in 2021.
According to numerous Tesla owners, the existing Supercharger at Santa Monica Place is showing a sandwich board that reads, “28 V3 stalls coming” and “Santa Monica 2021”, as shared by Reddit user ‘skaag’.
This same board was spotted earlier this month as well, as per @TeslaJoy:

The Tesla Supercharger at Santa Monica Place currently has 10 Urban charging stalls capable of 72 kW charging rates, but in 2021, the latest V3 versions will bring rates of up to 250 kW. Faster V3 Superchargers should cut down wait times during peak periods, as owners will be able to recharge faster, at the rate of 75 miles (120 km) in just 5 minutes. Now imagine 28 of these V3 stalls at busy Santa Monica Place.
Any updates on Los Angeles supercharger network expansion? Lines are getting bad.

Since its opening in February 2019, the Santa Monica Place Supercharger remains a busy destination for charging. The addition of 28 V3 stalls in 2021 surely will be appreciated by Tesla owners and visitors to the popular area.
Earlier this week, Tesla launched a Supercharger in Los Angeles at ROW DTLA on Alameda Street, one of the rare charging locations not locked behind valet service, with 16 Urban stalls available.
