Check Out This Timelapse of Giga Berlin Construction from July 29 [VIDEO]

Tobias Lindh has shared a new video detailing another construction update of Giga Berlin, Tesla’s factory being built in Germany.
The video shows a beehive of activity, as footings and columns can be seen erected on the site, which has multiple large cranes, bulldozers, dump trucks and more, as workers build the foundation for Giga Berlin. One building already has partial walls erected at the site.

Earlier his week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said “Giga Berlin will come together at an impossible-seeming speed. The prefabricated construction method in Germany is extremely impressive.”

Musk previously said Giga Berlin would have the “world’s most advanced paint shop”, while more recently, the CEO’s own Model S was shown in a new ‘crimson red’ paint color, possibly coming from Giga Berlin, when the latter opens in 2021 for Model Y production.
While it’s still daytime in North America, it’s currently night time in Berlin, which is why Lindh’s same-day upload is pretty neat, showcasing classic German efficiency hard at work at Tesla’s site.
