With technology constantly evolving, more celebrities like Jamie Foxx are now getting into the electric vehicle (EV) Industry! Foxx uploaded a video on YouTube late Thursday where he was his usual funny self, trying out a Tesla Model 3 performance owned by one of his friends.
This was an interesting test drive for him. He was overall impressed by the features like Autopilot, even taking his hands off the steering wheel at one point. Foxx goes on to endorse the vehicle in the video:
“That’s the thing about Tesla. Tesla is personal; it’s personable. Like everybody else that drove through, that guy had no eye contact. When I came through and he saw Tesla, Tesla spoke to him.”
Foxx eventually tries testing the car’s braking and instant torque acceleration, going from 0-60mph in roughly three seconds. A user on Reddit vouched for the Model 3’s instant torque:

Throughout the video, Foxx played with other software features throughout the video. He even jokingly yelled at other cars passing by and teased that they weren’t Teslas. After exceeding their Q2 forecasts, there is no slowing Tesla down as the company only continues to grow.
