Back in May, Tesla announced that Canadian drivers could expect Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control in “a few weeks” according to Musk’s Twitter. In the most recent tweet, Musk responds to a fan’s question in relation to the update. When asked when updates are expected for Canada, Musk responded by saying “Thursday.”
With so many moving pieces for Tesla right now, attention to the regional demand for this popular feature highlights the company’s position in the North American market.
Even so, the reviews on Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control were mixed upon the initial release. The feature includes some pointed details, such as pedestrian animations. However, there are also some issues with the new Autopilot Mode as some users discovered. After all, the feature remains in a beta test mode. Tesla included transparent warnings regarding the use of the system, as they still need to work out the kinks.
