Starlink Ships Wi-Fi 7 Router 4 With V4 Kits in Canada and the US
Starlink said Router 4 is now shipping with Starlink V4 Kits in the United States and Canada on Residential 200 Mbps and Residential Max plans.

Starlink said Friday that Router 4 is now shipping with Starlink V4 Kits in the United States and Canada on Residential 200 Mbps and Residential Max plans.
That closes the “available soon” window Starlink opened on September 9, when the company introduced Router 4 as its first Wi-Fi 7 chipset router, promising faster peak speeds and indoor coverage of up to 3,500 square feet (325 m²) for streaming, gaming, and everyday home use. Friday’s post quotes that unveil and marks the hardware as shipping in both countries on those two residential tiers.
In Starlink’s wording, V4 Kits are the ground hardware kits that now include Router 4. That is a customer-kit label for the dish-and-router bundle, not a claim that a new satellite generation just entered service. Residential 200 Mbps and Residential Max are the plan names named in the shipping note. Starlink did not list a router-only upgrade path, a dollar price for the kit, or Roam, Mini, or business plans in the same post.
A separate free Standard 4X kit offer for first-generation dish owners still listed Router 3 in that support writeup, and Friday’s note does not say those free kits now include Router 4. Starlink also has not said whether existing customers can buy only the router, how long deliveries take after order, or which other countries come next.
Canadian and US households on Residential 200 Mbps or Residential Max who want the Wi-Fi 7 box can check availability through this Starlink residential order link.
