Tesla Will Finally Stream the New Roadster Live This Thursday

Tesla’s Roadster event will stream live this Thursday, October 15, at 7:55 p.m. Central, which works out to 5:55 p.m. Pacific and 8:55 p.m. Eastern for anyone planning to watch from home.
The company posted the schedule on X with a short line and a matching graphic: “Roadster event streaming live this Thursday at 7:55pm CST.” It’s the first time Tesla has confirmed the reveal will be broadcast, and the stream is expected on Tesla’s X account, where the announcement went up.
Thursday’s event is the long-awaited public showing of the next-generation Roadster, the sports car Tesla first unveiled in 2017 with claims of a sub-two-second 0-60 mph run and an optional SpaceX package with cold-gas thrusters. Founders Series buyers put down deposits as high as $250,000 years ago, and customer deliveries have slipped again and again since then.
Tesla originally set the reveal for October 1, then pushed it to October 15 because the outdoor-only event had no indoor fallback when severe weather hit. Elon Musk later said high winds were the reason for the delay, which matters for a demo built around showing the car in motion.
Still unknown is how much of the in-person program will make it online, and whether the night will finally bring pricing, a production timeline or a live look at the thrusters. Will you be tuning in Thursday night?
