X Now Sells Grok, Cursor and Premium as One Plan

SpaceXSI launched The X Subscription on Monday, a single plan that bundles Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium into five tiers ranging from free to $200 a month, with new customers able to sign up starting today.
The company announced the plans in a thread on X and a matching post on its site, describing the bundle as one subscription that covers chatting and creating in Grok, getting work done with Grok Bot’s AI teammates, coding with Cursor’s local and cloud agents, and the checkmark, creator tools and reduced ads that come with X Premium. Paid tiers share one pool of Grok model usage across the Grok apps, the Grok tab on X and Cursor, so anything left unused in one product carries over to the other.
The lineup starts with a Free plan that includes daily Grok access, a starter allowance for Cursor’s coding agents and standard X. Plus costs $8 a month, Premium is $30 a month and bundles the benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and X Premium+ that previously added up to $90 a month, while Super at $100 and Ultra at $200 keep the same features but raise included usage to 15 and 50 times the Plus allowance, compared with four times on Premium. SpaceXSI says every X Subscription plan includes at least twice the coding usage with its own models of the comparable Cursor plan, and third-party models remain available in Cursor on Premium and above, billed separately at API list prices through top-ups.
Existing SuperGrok, Cursor and X Premium subscribers don’t have to do anything, since their current plans, prices and features carry on unchanged. Anyone who wants to move over will see a switch option in their billing settings as it rolls out over the next few days, along with a prorated refund for the old plan and limited-time upgrade offers. Teams get Premium, Super and Ultra at the same per-seat prices as individuals, plus SSO, admin controls and consolidated billing, while enterprise customers can manage Grok and Cursor from one dashboard.
The launch confirms the tier names that surfaced in app screenshots earlier Monday, including the $8 starting price, and settles the conflicting top-tier figures that were floating around by putting Ultra at $200. It also follows a month of Grok Bot being wired more tightly into Cursor, including its coding tools expansion on October 1.
Still unclear is exactly how many requests or tokens the “Plus allowance” works out to, since SpaceXSI describes usage only in multiples, and whether prices will differ on the App Store or outside the US. The company also hasn’t said what the limited-time switching offers are worth, only that they’ll show up in each account’s billing settings.
Would you trade your separate Grok, Cursor or Premium bills for one $30 plan?
