SpaceXAI’s Grok Bot can talk now, with the company rolling voice onto desktop and mobile over the next couple of days after the official Grok Bot account posted a short demo on September 17.
In the post, Grok Bot put it plainly: “Grok Bot can talk now.” A follow-up said voice is rolling out on desktop and mobile over the next couple of days and pointed people to the Grok Bot download page.
Elon Musk amplified the launch a few hours later, writing “Grok @Bot now has a voice” while quoting the original demo.
Grok Bot is SpaceXAI’s always-on AI teammate product, pitched as software agents that get their own computer and can take real work rather than chat-only replies. Earlier Grok Bot workplace hooks include Microsoft Teams search and actions and sales-tool integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Gong.
SpaceXAI has not published a full feature sheet for voice in the announcement thread. It has not said which languages ship first, whether voice works inside every existing Grok Bot workflow on day one, or how pricing changes, if at all, for voice sessions.
For now the confirmed details are thin and primary: a public demo, a two-day desktop and mobile rollout window, a download link, and Musk’s confirmation post. Early users on X are already treating the update as the missing piece for hands-free bot work on walks and commutes.
If you use Grok Bot for real tasks, the next couple of days are when voice should show up in the apps. Check the official account for the staged rollout rather than assuming every device gets it at once.
