Tesla on September 15, 2026, spotlighted John Foppe, a driver born without arms who has been using Teslas for more than seven years and now relies on Full Self-Driving Supervised for everyday mobility and long family trips.
In an official video post, Tesla wrote that FSD Supervised lets Foppe navigate without conventional steering, including commuting to his non-profit job and visiting his daughter more than 500 miles away. Elon Musk amplified the same clip minutes later with a heart reaction, keeping the accessibility angle on the main Tesla and Elon feeds the same morning.

The company has also been pushing accessibility on the purpose-built Cybercab side, from wheelchair-height seating to demos aimed at blind riders, which is a different product lane than owner-car FSD Supervised but the same broader pitch that autonomy should widen who can travel independently.
