Tesla Semi Is Coming to Europe With 550 km Full-Load Range

Tesla Europe said on September 11, 2026, that the company’s electric Semi is coming to Europe, publishing regional specs that put up to 550 kilometres of range on a fully loaded 40-tonne truck and pointing fleets to a fresh German Semi page on tesla.com.

“Semi is coming to Europe,” Tesla Europe wrote on X, listing up to 550 km of range at 40T fully loaded, 1 kWh/km energy consumption, Megacharger charging at up to 800 kW that recovers about 60 percent of range in 30 minutes, electric power take-off up to 25 kW, a 40T gross combination weight, and a 9,100 kg curb weight.

The European numbers sit beside the U.S. production Semi package Tesla has been detailing through 2026, where the Long Range configuration has been pitched around 500 miles at an 82,000-pound gross combination weight with peak Megacharger rates listed as high as 1.2 megawatts. Europe’s published curb weight of 9,100 kg and 800 kW Megacharger ceiling read as a market-specific cut of the same truck rather than a fresh redesign.

Tesla has floated European Semi manufacturing before. Elon Musk told Giga Berlin workers in 2024 that producing the truck there made sense, though that earlier remark was not a firm factory commitment. Friday’s post is the clearest official signal yet that European customers are in the commercial plan, with a live Deutsch Semi URL and the range, weight, and charging figures fleets need to model routes. Tesla has also been refreshing Semi deliveries and charging specs on its global pages as customer deliveries advance.

Whether European Megacharger sites and delivery timing follow in the same wave is still unstated, but the company now has a public European Semi product page and an official regional account amplifying the truck as headed for the Continent.
