Tesla’s Robotaxi account on X said riders can talk to Grok to control Cybercab, boosting the cabin-software pitch for the steering-wheel-free robotaxi.

The one-line post quoted a Cybercab cabin demo that shows deep Grok integration so passengers can use natural language for climate, YouTube, and music without touching the screen, and get a phone notification to edit the destination. Tesla’s own account did not add a timeline, market list, or software version for the feature.
That fits the rest of launch week. Cybercab’s Rider Guide already centers the in-cabin touchscreen for trip controls, Elon Musk said riders will be able to plug in a PlayStation or Xbox, and Tesla earlier teased theater, music, gaming, and upcoming V5 Starlink connectivity for the cabin. Voice control via Grok would push more of that experience off the glass while the vehicle drives itself.
Public Austin rides are already live after the September 3 launch and a same-week move to earlier afternoon hours. The Grok line does not say whether every public Cybercab in Texas has the voice stack yet, only that talking to Grok is how Tesla wants riders to run the cabin.
