Tesla Sets September 24 Semi Rollout at Sparks Factory

Tesla is hosting an invite-only Semi Rollout on September 24, 2026 at its new Semi Factory in Sparks, Nevada, to mark the plant’s opening.

Sawyer Merritt posted an official Tesla invite he received by email. The company describes the day as a celebration of the factory opening, with guided tours and a chance to experience the Semi on ride-alongs. Food and refreshments will be served, and each confirmed guest may bring one additional person.

RSVPs are due before midnight Pacific Time on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Tesla says confirmed attendees will get a follow-up email with next steps, IDs will be checked on arrival, and no one under 21 will be admitted. The company also reserves the right to deny entry.

The Sparks plant sits next to Gigafactory Nevada and is Tesla’s dedicated high-volume home for the Class 8 electric truck. The first Semi rolled off the new line in April after Tesla spent years building the 1.7 million-square-foot factory, which is aimed at 50,000 units a year once fully ramped.

Tesla has already given limited looks inside the building, including that April mass-production tour. The September 24 event is a more formal opening-day program for the same site, pairing the factory walk-through with actual Semi ride-alongs as 2026 deliveries and Megacharger charging continue to ramp.
