Tesla owners in the Netherlands, Estonia, Belgium, Lithuania, and Denmark have officially surpassed 50 million kilometres—roughly 31 million miles—driven using Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised, as announced by the company on Monday.
This achievement is particularly impressive given that these countries only began approving the technology in April 2026, starting with the Netherlands and quickly expanding to others through mutual recognition frameworks.
Reaching this total in just about three months signals remarkably strong uptake among European drivers immediately following the system’s local launch.
While this European milestone is a significant step for the region, it sits within the context of Tesla’s massive global footprint. According to official Tesla safety data, the company’s global fleet has now accumulated over 11.9 billion miles of FSD usage. The vast majority of this data has been gathered in the United States and other markets where the software has been available for years.
The rapid growth in these five European nations demonstrates that the platform is catching up quickly as regulatory pathways continue to open. Each kilometre driven helps refine the system, adding to the immense volume of real-world data Tesla uses to improve its autonomous driving capabilities worldwide.
