Tesla owners in Europe are rapidly racking up kilometres using the company’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised technology. According to data shared by the Tesla Europe account on X, drivers in the Netherlands and Lithuania have now combined for more than 20 million kilometres driven using the software.

The milestone highlights a massive surge in usage across the region. Tesla reported that the total sat at 15 million kilometres just two days prior, meaning drivers covered 5 million kilometres in a single 48-hour window. This sudden increase follows recent regulatory approvals for the software, which launched in the Netherlands on April 10 and in Lithuania on May 20.

Early feedback from European owners highlights how the system navigates unique local road designs, including roundabouts, tight bike lanes, tram tracks, and highways.

According to Tesla’s safety statistics, vehicles operating under FSD Supervised experience one major collision for every 5.3 million miles driven, a figure the company states is significantly safer than standard driving averages. The rapid adoption and growing dataset in these two countries come as Tesla builds momentum for a broader rollout of its driver-assist software across Europe.
