Tesla Is Giving Free Supercharging on Its Top Model 3 Trims
Tesla North America has announced a new incentive for customers purchasing high-end versions of its popular electric sedan. New orders for the Model 3 Premium and Model 3 Performance now include one year of free Supercharging in the United States.
The move aims to sweeten the deal for buyers looking at top-tier trims as Tesla continues to leverage its vast charging network as a competitive advantage. This incentive allows new owners to travel without worrying about fuel costs for their first year of ownership. If you Supercharge a lot, this is a great deal and is also worth it for those that do not have access to charging at their home, apartment or condo.
Beyond this new promotion, Tesla highlighted the pricing benefits of its charging infrastructure for all current owners. The company noted that all Tesla vehicles automatically receive the lowest available Supercharging rates. In contrast, owners of other electric vehicle brands who use the network must pay a premium of approximately 40% or maintain a monthly subscription to access lower pricing.
Again, this promo looks to incentive purchases of the Model 3 Premium and Performance. Who’s jumping on this?
