Tesla Cybertruck Arrives in Dubai With Massive Light Show

Tesla has officially begun delivering the Cybertruck in the United Arab Emirates, marking another major international expansion for the company’s most polarizing vehicle yet. Tesla’s official X account for Europe and the Middle East confirmed the milestone on X, posting that the first Cybertruck deliveries in the UAE are now underway following a launch event in Dubai.
The debut was anything but subtle. Footage shared before the event showed what was described as the largest Cybertruck light show in the UAE, with dozens of stainless-steel pickups lighting up the night sky as Tesla handed over the first vehicles to local customers. The spectacle underscored just how much attention the Cybertruck continues to command outside North America, even as demand dynamics shift back home.
The UAE launch comes several months after Tesla first opened Cybertruck orders in the region, alongside Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as it began laying the groundwork for Middle East deliveries. Since then, Tesla has started shipping the all-electric pickup to international markets, with South Korea becoming the Cybertruck’s first overseas destination late last year. The UAE now follows as another key market, one where bold design, premium vehicles, and high-profile launches tend to resonate strongly.
That said, the timing is notable. The Middle East rollout comes after U.S. demand for the Cybertruck reportedly fell by nearly 50% in 2025, prompting questions about long-term volume expectations for the vehicle. A report late last year also suggested a major Tesla supplier slashed a long-term Cybertruck battery supply agreement by roughly 99%, highlighting the pressure Tesla faces to broaden the truck’s appeal globally.
From a technology standpoint, the Cybertruck has continued to evolve. Tesla recently rolled out Full Self-Driving version 14 to the Cybertruck in North America, unlocking more complete autonomy features such as parking, reversing, and expanded city driving capabilities. However, since FSD is not currently available in the UAE, it remains unclear when those features will make their way to Cybertruck owners in the Emirates.
Still, Tesla is clearly betting that new markets can help reignite interest in what it once billed as a revolutionary pickup. With its unmistakable design, growing software capabilities, and reputation as a life-saving all-electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck’s arrival in the UAE represents another high-profile chapter in its unconventional global rollout.
