Tesla Unlocks FSD for Cybertrucks in South Korea

Tesla is continuing its steady global expansion of Full Self-Driving, and Cybertruck owners in South Korea are now officially part of that rollout.

According to longtime Tesla watcher @tslachan, Tesla Korea has begun deploying Full Self-Driving (Supervised) on the Cybertruck in South Korea, marking the first time the all-electric pickup has received FSD in the country. The update is rolling out with software version 2025.47.5 and includes FSD v14.1.4, bringing Cybertrucks in South Korea in line with other global markets that have already received Tesla’s latest self-driving stack.

This is the first time Cybertruck owners in South Korea have had access to FSD at all — a notable milestone given how recently the vehicle itself arrived in the market. Tesla only began taking Cybertruck orders in South Korea back in August, making the rapid software enablement particularly noteworthy.

This Cybertruck-specific rollout comes just a month after Full Self-Driving (Supervised) officially debuted in South Korea, making it the seventh country globally where Tesla’s advanced driver assistance system has been approved to operate. While early access initially focused on Tesla’s more established models, the Cybertruck has now caught up, following a broader global rollout of FSD 14 that began reaching the vehicle in early November.

Globally, V14 marked a major turning point for Cybertruck owners, delivering the full suite of FSD features that had previously been limited to other Tesla vehicles. With FSD 14 now live in South Korea, Cybertruck owners there gain access to Tesla’s most advanced perception and planning system to date, built on the company’s evolving neural network-based approach to autonomy.

Looking ahead, Tesla has made it clear that South Korea is just one piece of a much larger expansion plan. The company has already teased future FSD launches in markets such as the UAE, Denmark, and additional European countries in the months to come, as Tesla continues to push for regulatory approvals.

For South Korean Cybertruck owners, however, the wait is over — and Tesla’s most futuristic vehicle just became a lot smarter.
