Tesla has officially begun delivering Model Ys in its newly introduced Marine Blue paint finish, marking the first customer handovers of the colorway in Europe following its initial launch last month. The new shade — developed at Tesla’s advanced multi-layer paint facility at Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg — caught significant attention when it debuted in Europe as the latest addition to the factory’s growing lineup of exclusive finishes.

Marine Blue is priced at €1,300 (around $1,500 USD) in most European markets and is available on both the Model Y Premium (formerly the Long Range trim) and the Model Y Performance. The color joins Tesla’s Berlin-built palette alongside Quicksilver and Ultra Red, each designed to shift depth and tone depending on lighting conditions.

Deliveries of Marine Blue Model Ys are now underway, with new owner Jamie Craane (@jcraane) posting on X that they collected their Model Y All-Wheel Drive (AWD) in the color today and found it a fantastic match for the vehicle. Early photos show a noticeably darker finish than Tesla’s other blue options, including Glacier Blue and Deep Blue Metallic.

Earlier this month, Tesla expanded Marine Blue availability to Australia and New Zealand as well. In those markets, the shade is currently exclusive to the refreshed Model Y Performance and comes included in the price of the vehicle. Tesla first introduced the refreshed Performance variant across Australia and New Zealand in September, featuring updated front and rear fascias, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, adaptive damping, and staggered wheels and tires for improved steering response and grip. The Performance units bound for both countries are being imported from Giga Berlin.

Tesla’s European Gigafactory is also slated to start exporting Model Y Performance units to Canada in early 2026. However, it remains unclear when Marine Blue will be available to Canadian customers or other global markets outside of Europe and Australia/New Zealand.

As Tesla ramps up international rollout of its newest paint finish, Marine Blue is quickly emerging as one of the most eye-catching colors to come out of Giga Berlin. Where would you rank Marine Blue on the list of Model Y paint options Tesla offers? Let us know in the comments below.
